Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data Founder's Seat collects and how it is used, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address, and optionally your college or company. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.
• Usage: the days you sign in, and for each game the scenario seed, month reached, and final score.
• Payments: an order reference, the amount and the payment status returned by Instamojo, our payment gateway. We do not receive or store card numbers, UPI IDs or bank details.
• Site analytics: we use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use these pages. Clarity records clicks, scrolling and page interactions, along with device and browser details, as heatmaps and session recordings. It masks text you type and other sensitive content by default. Why we use it

• To run your account, the free trial and paid access.
• To count players and understand how the game is used, so we can improve it.
• If your programme gave you access, to show your faculty your progress and results in their cohort.

We do not sell your data and do not send marketing emails.

Where it is stored

Account and game data are stored with Supabase, our database and sign-in provider. Payments are handled by Instamojo. Site analytics are processed by Microsoft Clarity. Your game in progress is also saved in your own browser.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account exists. Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time by writing to kokosheesh@gmail.com. We reply within 7 days.
